RAK7289V2 / RAK7289CV2 WisGate Edge Pro V2 is a rugged outdoor LoRaWAN® gateway designed for commercial and industrial applications. It offers flexibility for various deployment scenarios with up to 16 LoRa channels and multiple connectivity options (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and optional LTE on the CV2 version).
Based on OpenWRT, the gateway runs on WisGateOS 2, enabling feature expansion and remote management via the WisDM platform. Its integrated LTE, Wi-Fi, and GPS antennas are housed inside a robust IP67 enclosure, protecting the device from harsh environmental conditions.
It supports multiple operating modes, including an integrated network server, Packet Forwarder, and Basics Station. Features like MQTT with TLS encryption, LoRa frame filtering, and data buffering during network server outages ensure reliable performance.
