Soil Sensor measures soil humidity and temperature. Data is transferred by a 1-Wire bus, so it is possible to use multiple sensors on a single cable. Humidity is measured using a capacitive method. Measuring is done by two copper strips inside the inner layers of the PCB. This way, the contacts are not exposed to direct humidity and do not oxidize.
The entire sensor is sealed and therefore protected from adverse weather conditions and will last for years in the country. The sensor is compatible with any 1-Wire bus, and you can use HARDWARIO or Arduino platforms for a seamless connection.
