The Milesight EG71-L08GL is an intelligent quad-core building IoT gateway that unifies wired and wireless connectivity — LoRaWAN®, RS485/Modbus, BACnet, KNX, M-Bus, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G — in one compact DIN-rail device.
It bridges field sensors and actuators to the cloud or a BMS via BACnet/IP, Modbus, MQTT and HTTP, with universal inputs, relay and analog outputs, and local automation through a Python SDK, Node-RED and Docker. Ideal for building automation, energy management and HVAC control.
Before deployment
- Power: PoE 802.3af, 24 V or USB-C 5 V/3 A — DIN-rail adapter not included.
- Connectivity: 2× gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and building buses (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, M-Bus).
- Management: a built-in LoRaWAN network server, runs standalone; set up via the web interface (https), remote management via the Milesight platform.
