The Milesight EM400-TLD-868M is a Time-of-Flight (ToF) laser distance sensor for fill-level and position monitoring in small bins and containers. It covers 2–350 cm with 1 mm resolution and ±2 cm accuracy, and its narrow 27° field of view gives near blind-spot-free readings. A built-in NTC temperature sensor detects container fires and a 3-axis accelerometer reports tilt and lid open/close.
Two replaceable 9000 mAh Li-SOCl₂ batteries give over 10 years of operation in an IP67 ABS+PC enclosure with an internal damp-proof coating. It transmits over LoRaWAN® up to 15 km line of sight and is configured via NFC.
Before you install
- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC).
- Power: 2× lithium batteries (ER26500, C-size), ~10-year life.
- Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices.
