The Milesight EM410-RDL-868M is a non-contact 60 GHz millimeter-wave radar sensor that measures the distance to a liquid or smooth-surface solid. A focused 8° beam gives a 0.3–12 m range with 1 mm resolution and up to ±2 mm accuracy, unaffected by dust, condensate, temperature changes or acoustic noise. A built-in 3-axis accelerometer reports tilt.
The PVDF (UL94 V0) housing is rated IP68 (submersion to 1 m up to 48 h) and resists corrosion in salt-mist and brine. It installs via a G1½" tank thread or wall bracket, runs up to 7 years on a 19000 mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery, and is configured over NFC or Bluetooth — ideal for sewers, rivers, reservoirs and tanks.
Before you install
- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC or Bluetooth).
- Power: a lithium battery (ER34615) is included, ~7-year life.
- Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices.
