Milesight VS121 - AI Workplace Occupancy Sensor

The Milesight VS121-868M is a ceiling-mounted AI occupancy sensor that uses on-device computer vision to count people and analyse space usage — regional counting, occupancy, dwell time and bi-directional line crossing with U-turn filtering — at up to 98 % accuracy. With a 190° × 112° field of view it covers up to ~6.8 × 18.8 m mounted at 4 m.

All processing is local: no images are stored or transmitted, only anonymous counts, so it is GDPR compliant with optional blur mode and up to 8 privacy masks. It connects over LoRaWAN® Class C (EU868) with Milesight D2D and is powered from mains via USB-C (DC 5 V / 2 A).

Before you install

• Setup: in a browser after connecting to the device's Wi-Fi, no app.
• Power: USB-C powered (5 V/3 A), no battery — plan a power feed at the install location.
• Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices. Also supports Milesight D2D for direct control without a gateway.
