The Milesight VS321-868M is a fully wireless AI occupancy sensor combining a low-power AI chip, PIR-triggered wake-up and an RGB camera to count people or detect desk occupancy in two switchable modes, at up to 95 % accuracy across a 129° × 93° field of view. Integrated temperature, humidity and light sensors add basic environmental data.
All processing is on-device — no images are stored or transmitted, only anonymous data, keeping it GDPR compliant. It runs on four replaceable Li-SOCl₂ batteries for over 10 years, communicates over LoRaWAN® Class A (EU868) with Milesight D2D, and is configured via NFC.
Before you install
- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (Bluetooth).
- Power: 4× lithium batteries (ER14505); USB-C for temporary use only.
- Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices. Also supports Milesight D2D for direct control without a gateway.
