The Milesight VS330-868M reports the occupied/vacant status of toilet cubicles, bathrooms and similar small spaces by combining a Time-of-Flight ranging sensor (0.04–3.5 m, ±2 cm) with a PIR motion detector, for reliable presence detection even in complete darkness at over 99.5 % accuracy. The sensor head adjusts through six angles (0–75°) to suit different layouts.
It uses no camera, so detection is fully anonymous and GDPR compliant. Three replaceable Li-SOCl₂ batteries give around 4 years of operation, and it reports over LoRaWAN® Class A (EU868). Note the enclosure is rated IP30 (dust-protected, not water-resistant) — avoid direct splashing.

- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC).
- Power: 3× lithium batteries (ER18505) included, ~4-year life.
- Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices.
