The Milesight VS340-868M is a LoRaWAN® desk and seat occupancy sensor using a high-precision PIR sensor to detect whether a workspace is in use, enabling space management and hot-desking. It offers anonymous detection (no images) and an adjustable field of view via five interchangeable PIR covers.
A 4000 mAh Li-SOCl₂ battery gives up to 5 years of life. One-touch NFC configuration and 3M tape mounting make bulk deployment fast. The Pro version VS341 adds a thermopile sensor for up to 98 % recognition.
Before you install
- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC).
- Power: a lithium battery (ER18505), ~5-year life.
- Data: over LoRaWAN, needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices. Also supports Milesight D2D for direct control without a gateway.
