The Milesight VS341-868M is a compact desk-mounted sensor that detects whether an individual desk or seat is occupied, combining a PIR motion detector with a thermopile infrared sensor for up to 98 % accuracy within about 1 m. Interchangeable PIR covers tune the field of view for single desks, face-to-face desks, bar tables or round tables.
It contains no camera, so detection is entirely anonymous. A single replaceable Li-SOCl₂ battery lasts up to 10 years, it mounts in seconds with 3M tape or screws, and it reports over LoRaWAN® Class A (EU868) with Milesight D2D support.
Before you install
- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC).
- Power: a lithium battery (ER18505), ~5-year life.
- Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices. Also supports Milesight D2D for direct control without a gateway.
