The Milesight VS350-868M uses dual PIR sensors to detect and count people moving through an entrance or corridor in both directions. Because it relies on passive infrared rather than a camera, it captures no images and is 100 % anonymous and GDPR compliant. A built-in temperature sensor can serve as an additional trigger.
It mounts on a ceiling (2–3 m, covering a passage up to 3.1 m wide) or on a wall (1.2–1.3 m), runs on two replaceable Li-SOCl₂ batteries for multi-year operation, and reports over LoRaWAN® Class A (EU868) with Milesight D2D support.
Before you install
- Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC).
- Power: 2× lithium batteries (ER14505) included, ~5-year life.
- Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices. Also supports Milesight D2D for direct control without a gateway.
