Milesight VS360 - IR Break-Beam People Counter

The Milesight VS360-868M counts people using IR break-beam technology: a Master and a Node unit form an infrared light barrier, and each passage that interrupts the beam is counted bi-directionally. Because it relies on beam interruption rather than a thermal or optical image, counting is unaffected by ambient temperature or clothing colour, and it is fully anonymous and GDPR compliant.

The pair runs on replaceable Li-SOCl₂ batteries for multi-year operation, supports LoRaWAN® Class A (EU868) and Milesight D2D, and is configured via NFC — ideal for meeting rooms, corridors, escalators and pop-up stores.

Before you install

• Setup: via the Milesight ToolBox app (NFC).
• Power: both units (master and node) run on lithium batteries (2× ER14505), pre-installed; ~3–4-year life.
• Data: over LoRaWAN — needs a LoRaWAN gateway to send data (sold separately); remote monitoring via the Milesight platform is free for up to 10 devices. Also supports Milesight D2D for direct control without a gateway.
